Since the advent of the Leaky Condo crisis in British Columbia Steelhead Contracting has become a leader in the building envelope rehabilitation field. Over the years the company has developed and maintained strong relationships with industry professionals including engineers, property managers and owners.
A large portion of the work has been conducted for governmental agencies, including BC Housing, Entre Nous Femme Housing Society and Rain City Housing & Support Society (formerly TRIAGE Emergency Services & Care Society). While most projects are in the Lower Mainland, the company is accomplished in out-of-town projects, of which an example is the exterior envelope rehabilitation of a BC Housing project in Prince Rupert.
